The Purpose Behind the Pain

These punishments I bear are not without meaning. They are not given lightly, nor taken without feeling. Each one is a mark of correction, a quiet force that steers me back when I stray. Not to hurt me—but to shape me. Not to break me—but to humble what must be softened.

Through them, I am reminded: obedience is not weakness. It is strength, refined by surrender. I learn where I have overstepped, where I must yield, and where I truly belong, and who I belong to.
